Responsible for opening and closing the golf shop, supervising golf service staff, and daily operations in the absence of the Golf Pro and 1st Assistant Golf Pro.

Coordinate the direct marketing efforts for Grand, Sheraton, and Horseshoe Casinos; including executing the direct mail strategies for existing, new and potential customers, the special events departments, and the host departments. Work with various vendors and department members to insure creative print production, copywriting, and mail house services are executed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsible for working with creative print and copy writing vendors to insure product is delivered to the appropriate place in a timely manner. Responsible for working with mail house and e-mail vendors to insure mail goes out on time and accurately. Responsible for working with telemarketing vendors to insure phone call programs are executed timely and accurately. Responsible for proofing and data checks on all direct mail offers to insure the correct offers are being sent to the right group of customers. Oversee the printing of all direct mail pieces (including the special event invitations) to insure timeliness and accuracy. Work with the USPS to understand all postal changes and guidelines and how they affect the direct marketing activities of the properties. Control inventory of letterhead, envelopes, postcards, and other stock products; and request reprints as needed. Insure the postage account balances for all properties are maintained at the appropriate level. Work with Total Rewards, the front desk, the call centers, and other departments to update and train them on direct marketing offers. Work with the call centers to coordinate the drop schedules of all mailings. Work with the special events departments to coordinate the mail drops for their events. Handle customer inquiries via telephone, mail, and email. Disseminate information about all direct mail, including events, to appropriate departments. Coordinate with corporate offices on mailings executed centrally. Interact with members of the marketing staff and other casino departments in a friendly, understandable, and responsible manner. Must meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies. Perform other task as requested.

College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required. Must be comfortable working with computers. Knowledge of relational database query software and Microsoft Excel a plus. Understanding of direct marketing list segmentation techniques and theories is desirable. Must be detail-oriented, well organized and self- motivated.
