A leading designer, manufacturer, and maintenance service provider, of light rail transit vehicles is searching for a manager/director of business development. Working from a negotiable location in the United States, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities and skills:

Developing new business and maintaining current relationships in the light rail industry. This would include complete maintenance service contracts and partial fleet maintenance contracts for various light rail systems.

The successful candidate must have the ability to create new sales within the current customer base that offer innovative offerings for the customers needs

A strong network in the field is a definite asset, however, individuals with transit related experience will be considered

Education

A degree in business administration/marketing or equivalent

A minimum of 5 years experience in business development

Strong communicator and excellent presentation skills

This a permanent position with a pay rate of $110,000-$130,000/year.
