Responsible for opening and closing the golf shop, supervising golf service staff, and daily operations in the absence of the Golf Pro and 1st Assistant Golf Pro.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises 10-12 associates in the Golf Operations Dept. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, scheduling and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; recommending promotions and terminations; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
