Position Description: Primary role in this position will be to provide payment support services for our business and to assist in accounting month end close activities.
Position will include data entry, research, and review of documents for accuracy, compliance and company policy.
Position will also include some administrative support for accounting team.
Primary Responsibilities: Weekly Responsibilities: Support Hygeia Bill Payment Services process, including review of files, preparing and submitting requests, updating files and databases, log cash receipts and send deposit to bank, prepare backup files for wire transfers and be a liaison between AP and Account ServicesReview Canadian Invoice Log File for accuracy in coding and payment process date; update log with settlement FX rateReview and update Canadian Fixed Asset ReportPrepare Canadian ACH payment file and support, notify accountant of manual check paymentsRetrieve information from Cash Management, create and maintain a report for Wells Fargo US Bank AccountRetrieve and update wire transfer report with details received from Merrill Lynch Bank AccountsReview Canadian employees' expense reports for accuracy and complianceCode vendor invoices for Accounts PayablePrepare wire transfer requests Monthly Responsibilities: Blackline account reconciliation'sGeneral Ledger journal entriesGreat Plains Closing, including daily posting of financial batches, closing and opening accounting period, running trial balance report to be used for journal entry into PeopleSoftPrepare wire payments for Toronto rent and Allianz Worldwide (AWC)Provide backup support for India staff for Journal Entry and BS ReconciliationRespond to various related party search request Documentation of policies & proceduresSave Budget Owner reports to shared drive and distribute Yearly / Quarterly Responsibilities: Update Chart of Values quarterlyAssist in Related Party Transactions Research as requestedArchive files UnitedHealthcare is part of the family of companies that make UnitedHealth Group one of the leaders across most major segments of the US health care system.
