· Provides technical support to all departments as well as freelance packagers and designers with applications such as: Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXpress, PitStop, Flightcheck Professional, font management software, and FTP clients.

· Communicates with designers and production managers on troubleshooting problems encountered by vendors.

· Provides back up to the Prepress Manager as necessary.

Position Qualifications: · 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.

· 2 to 4 years of experience in prepress and print production, including hi-resolution PDF workflows.

· Advanced knowledge of publishing software including Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXpress, PitStop, Flightcheck Professional, font management software, and FTP clients.

· Ability to work in Mac and PC platforms.

· Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· Experience with digital asset management a plus.

· Knowledge of the book production process a plus.
