IBA Particle Therapy focuses on state-of-the-art solutions to enhance the effectiveness of radiotherapy for cancer treatment, while limiting its side effects.
We are working around the clock to make it possible for more patients to take advantage of this treatment option.
Particle therapy offers the same tumor-killing properties as traditional radiation treatment, but with decreased side effects and complications.
While conventional x-ray radiation can damage healthy tissues, proton therapy uses precisely guided protons to attack tumors, minimizing damage to surrounding tissues.
A Particle Therapy system is perhaps the most complex form of medical equipment available on the market today.
IBA Particle Therapy is committed to technological progress in the field of cancer therapy.
Over the past 15 years IBA has designed and equipped over half of the clinically-based Particle Therapy facilities in the world.
More oncology programs place their confidence in IBA because we have more experience, more expertise and more commitment than anyone else.
Bringing particle therapy into an oncology practice on-time and on-budget requires considerable expertise and commitment.
Ion Beam Applications has more evidential experience than all other suppliers combined.
Years of research, development, and clinical collaboration with leading cancer institutions have resulted in the most mature technology with the greatest clinical flexibility available today.
Consistent with our demonstrated and proven commitment to particle therapy, the comprehensive scope of services provided by IBA dramatically simplifies the process of creating a particle therapy facility for our customer.
