Position Summary: The Manager, Web Analytics is responsible for developing and reporting on core web metrics related to marketing site traffic, cross-media tracking, click-stream analysis and conversion utilizing existing and future analytic tools on OfficeMax web properties.
The WAM will be the primary point of contact for all analysis and insights about the use and behavior customers on OfficeMax web properties.
Using standard web analytics tools, specifically Coremetrics, the WAM will work with the eCommerce functional areas to develop actionable and insightful recommendations to increase customer conversion, engagement and sales on OfficeMax web properties.
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions
1. Use the Coremetrics suite of products, and any future additions to OfficeMax website metrics tracking, to develop actionable and insightful recommendations to the following eCommerce organizations: merchandising, marketing, usability & design and executive team.
2. Develop a standard set of dashboards reports with actionable KPIs for each functional area and publish on regular basis depending on agreed frequency with functional areas.
3. Conduct research and analyses to see what visitors are doing, what areas are failing, etc. and provide recommendations.
4. Provide insight and analysis for ad hoc analysis for cross functional areas of the business.
5. Collect and compare our business to industry benchmarks.
6. Develop and manage the process for site testing, UI studies, and qualitative studies that optimize the agreed to KPIs.
7. Ensure all appropriate tracking is in place for websites and campaigns.
8. Manage relationship with the current web analytic vendor, Coremetrics, and any future analytics vendors.
9. Be an advocate for the customer's online experience by always looking for improvements in site and ways that will improve the experience.

Core Competencies: TBD Education, Certification & Licenses: This position requires knowledge of eCommerce, business, and marketing, as well as quantitative methods acquired through formal education or 2 – 3 years on-the-job application.
Also required is computer proficiency in spreadsheet software and word processing, and strong writing and verbal skills to prepare reports and presentations.
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
